Kid's Accordion
Subject
Description
Pictured: Woodstock children's "button" accordion, two-octave range, key of C.
The accordion is used in folk music in many countries. To play it, musicians use the seven buttons on the right-hand side to play melodies and the upper two buttons on the left for playing harmonies. The bottom button on the left is an air valve, which is used to open or close the accordion without making any sound.
